New Info:
Thank you very much to everyone who sponsored our turkey dinner, and to those of you who cooked a turkey for us.

The school is sponsoring a Holiday Shop. It will be set up in the cafeteria 12-07-09 to 12-11-09. If you would like to volunteer to oversee the shop for a short time during that week, please let me or someone at the administration desk know.

On Friday, 12-11-09 we will be making Holiday gifts in the classroom. This will enable students to give a gift to their parents. This is a much smoother process when I have a couple parents help me. Please let me know if you are able to help. As I only need the help of two parents, volunteers will be accepted in the order of which they respond.

There are about two weeks of school days left for this quarter. It is imperative that assignments missed due to absence be turned in by 12-11-09. Otherwise, they will not be able to be included in this grading period.

12-16-09 Is the last day of the second quarter. Report cards will go home, and it is a half day with no lunch served or after school care. We will be dismissed at 11:30 p.m.

12-17-09 to 1-01-10 is our Winter Vacation. There will be no school during that time. School we resume on 1-04-10.

Reminders:
On the first Wednesday of each month students are allowed to wear appropriate clothes of their choice to school if they pay $1.00. Our Next $1.00 Dress Down Day is December 02, 2009.

I encourage you to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns. You may call the school to set up an appointment, or email me at mpelchy@cox.net. View my blog at http:mrspelchy.blogspot.com/ for updates and current information.

Warm Regards,
Mrs. Pelchy
