Happy Holidays!

Reflections:
It is amazing to me how quickly this year is flying by. We are already at the mid point, with the Winter Vacation starting this week. I want to thank everyone for a wonderful first half of the school year. I hope you all have a safe and fabulous Holiday Season!

Important Dates:
12-16-09 Report cards go home. It is a half day, with no lunch or after school.
12-17-09 to 1-01-10 Winter Vacation, no school.
1-04-10 School resumes

New Info:
Many thanks to those who sent in canned food for the Food Drive.

The Holiday Musical was wonderful! All the kids did a great job.

Due to the short week, we will not have spelling assignments this week.

Students should spend some time practicing their multiplication over the break, especially multiples of 0, 1, 5, 7, 10.

Reminders:
Wednesday, December 16, 2009, our class is having a holiday celebration. Students are encouraged to bring food to share with others. I will supply drinks. Students may also bring a non electronic game to school to play with other students. We are also having a voluntary gift exchange. Students who wish to participate should not spend more than $5.00 on a gift, and should buy a gift for a child of the same gender. The wrapped gift may be brought to school on the day of the celebration.

12-16-09 Is the last day of the second quarter. Report cards will go home, and it is a half day with no lunch served or after school care. We will be dismissed at 11:30 p.m.

12-17-09 to 1-01-10 is our Winter Vacation. There will be no school during that time. School we resume on 1-04-10.
